Early Morning Fire

Just after 1 AM Monday morning Ken Melvin was awakened by the smell of smoke at his home at 1202 24th street (behind Goar's). Haleyville Fire and Rescue was on the scene shortly there after to put out the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation however there was an electric space heater on in the living room at the time.
